Baked Maple Dijon Tofu

  1. Rinse the tofu in cool water, pat dry.
  2. Cut into slices, approximately 1/2 inch thick and arrange in a casserole dish, allowing space between the pieces.
  3. Add garlic and onion, if using.
  4. Combine the last four ingredients and pour over the tofu.
  5. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Flip the tofu and bake for another 10-15 minutes uncovered. (Keep a close eye on it during the last 10-15 minutes- the tofu will absorb the liquid and the bottom can burn quickly. Add a splash of water, if necessary- it won’t hurt at all!)
